Keto Melty Cheese Burgers
A tasty twist on a simple burger patty, this burger has a filling of oozy melted cheese.

Perfect for BBQ’s or weekend dinners, these cheese stuffed burger patties are perfect in a simple lettuce wrap served with a side of keto slaw.

Ingredients
  • Ground Beef 1 pound (454g or 16 oz) 
  • Shallots 1 tbsp, chopped (10g or 0.35 oz) 
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese 4 tablespoon (28g or 1 oz) 
  • Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon (16g or 0.55 oz) 
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon (2g or 0.05 oz) 
  • Black Pepper ⅛ tsp (0g or 0.01 oz)

Instructions
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 395 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • 2. Finely chop the shallot and add to a mixing bowl with the ground beef, mustard, salt and pepper.
  • 3. Using your hands, combine the ingredients together thoroughly.
  • 4. Divide the mixture evenly into 8 portions, creating individual patties with your hands – about ½ inch thick.
  • 5. Top 4 of the patties with a heaped tablespoon of grated cheese.
  • 6. Place the remaining 4 patties on top of the cheese covered patties and gently pinch the sides together to seal the cheese within the burger
  • 7. Transfer to the oven to bake for 20-23 minutes turning halfway through, until browned all over and completely cooked through.
  • 8. Serve with lettuce wraps and our low carb smoky slaw!
